Early Years News Week 6

In the Early Years this week, there has been a lot of cooking happening. Focus has been on measurement and numeracy, with students pouring and counting how many eggs and cups of flour are needed for yummy cakes. Stirring and mixing is a highlight for all students, with everyone loving to see the mixture turn into sticky batter!

Early Years celebrated NAIDOC week by painting and decorating the Aboriginal Flag, and practising fine motor skills by creating dot paintings, using cotton tips and paint to decorate the NAIDOC logo. We also listened to a traditional Indigenous story about a crocodile and echidna.
