School Profile:

City Beach Primary School is located in the coastal suburb of City Beach in the western suburbs of Perth, ten minutes from the city.

The school is set amongst extensive playing fields with well established trees and gardens. It is a small caring school with a student population of approximately 218, catering for children from Kindergarten to Year 7. Class sizes range from 20 to 32 students.

The learning programmes at City Beach Primary School reflect the belief that children learn in different ways in an ever-changing world. Teaching staff work vigorously to ensure students are provided with a wide range of opportunities designed to promote both academic and personal growth.

Our Kindergarten is 'off site' in Boronia Crescent whilst our Pre-Primary is 'on site'. Both programs are well regarded with student placement at a premium.

A number of our students access our school because they are involved in the elite WAIS Gymnastics or Diving Program. A bus is provided to transport the gymnasts between the school and Challenge Stadium.

Staff have a high level of experience and expertise in a spread of areas and continually strive to improve their professional skills and abilities. They are dedicated to ensure that students receive a sound, balanced education and that there is support for Students at Educational Risk and those in need of extension.
