City Beach Primary School provides a number of after school extension programs that provide additional training and development for all students in the areas of academia, sports and arts.

The programs have been developed in conjunction with local service providers, community organisations and the Department of Education.

After school activities aim to;

1. Engage as many students as possible in after school sport opportunities.
2. To provide a diverse range of sports to encourage students to develop an interest in being active individuals.
3. To develop a fundamental year round skills program for Pre Primary through to Yr 7 students that provide a sound all round grounding in a variety of sports.
4. Provide academic extension opportunities across curriculum areas.

Some of the programs on offer include: Sport: Funk Dance, Football, Cartooning, Multi Sports, Cricket, Basketball, Swimming, Netball, Circus Skills, Tennis, Soccer, Golf, Athletics.

• The Arts- Dance and movement, drama, and art courses.
