City Beach Primary School has a dedicated physical education teacher. Children at all year levels are involved in a wide and varied range of activities during the course of the school year. This year students may be given the opportunity to participate in:

• House and Interschool Swimming Carnivals
• House and Interschool Athletics Carnivals
• House and Interschool Cross Country Carnivals
• Interschool Netball
• Interschool Football
• Interschool Soccer

The school grounds contain extensive playing fields and sporting equipment is made available to the children during lunch and recess for play.

In-Term Swimming:

In-term swimming classes are arranged for students and are conducted by fully qualified swimming instructors. Years 4-7 attend classes in Term 1 while students from Years PP-3 attend classes in Term 4.

Other Activities Include

• Interschool football, soccer and netball
• Tennis lessons during both junior and senior sport sessions.
• Swimming Squad training before school during first term
• Cross country training for all interested students before school.
• Jump Rope For Heart
• Co Curricular Activities (after school)- Kidz In Sport, funk dance, Move and Groove, soccer, Auskick- junior football, golf
• Saturday morning netball teams organised and coached by parent volunteers. 
• Gym Bus- term1 – PP-Year 3
